Electrotherapy

Description of the procedure:

 

Today, electric currents and electromagnetic fields are used in medicine very widely – this is a constantly evolving section of apparatus physiotherapy, creating more and more new treatment methods.

During this procedure, electrodes are placed on the patient, then electricity of various formats, frequencies and intensities is used. Electrotherapy is used primarily to reduce pain, especially joints and spine, improve blood circulation, remove toxins, relieve muscle tension.

The main indications:

Skin diseases, post-traumatic conditions, diseases of the musculoskeletal system, neuralgia, neuritis, circulatory disorders, depression, neurosis, chronic fatigue, diseases of the digestive system, as well as gynecological diseases.

The main contraindications:

Pregnancy, pacemaker, bleeding of any origin, tuberculosis, tumor diagnosis + chemotherapy treatment, infectious or fungal diseases, epilepsy, hematological diseases, hypotension, cardiopulmonary decompensation, thrombosis, individual intolerance.

Duration of the procedure:

10 minutes
