Carbonic bath with mineral water
Description of the procedure:
The patient takes this procedure in a special stainless steel bath filled with mineral water, brought to the Brussels hotel from the Glauber spring. The water temperature is about 36 – 38 degrees. Two effects take place on the patient’s skin at once: water and gas. The action of the gas has the expansion of capillary vessels and, as a result, improves blood supply to organs and tissues. This reduces blood pressure and increases cardiac output. Thus, the load on the heart is significantly reduced.
The main indications:
Diseases of the cardiovascular system, disorders of the nervous system, arterial hypertension, diabetes mellitus with circulatory disorders, venous insufficiency, kidney disease, arterial hypertension of 1-2 degrees, post-traumatic asthenic syndrome and others.
The main contraindications:
Epilepsy of stages 2 and 3, severe anemia, severe heart failure, severe coronary sclerosis, mitral heart defects, heart failure stage II and III, hyperthyroidism, chronic renal failure, individual intolerance to water procedures.
